About the Tennessee Register

Founded in 1937 as “The Voice of Tennessee Catholic Life,” the Tennessee Register now serves the growing Catholic faithful of Middle Tennessee by providing them with vital international, national, regional, and local news. The newspaper’s feature articles, editorial commentaries, photographs, calendar events, and more help support the Nashville Catholic Diocese across its 60 churches, parishes, and missions.

During its 85-plus-year history, the Tennessee Register has received numerous awards for reporting, including the award for General Excellence in its circulation category from the Catholic Press Association. The Tennessee Register is one of the most decorated diocesan Catholic newspapers in the country.

For $29 per year, the Tennessee Register will be delivered to your home every two weeks, filled with stories from the grand chapels of the Vatican to the smallest parishes in the Diocese of Nashville and everywhere in between.
